Letter from the Managing Director

Back in 2003, when I took the idea to potential investors of creating a true alternative supplier in the aseptic packaging market, two questions invariably came up: How has the current sole supplier remained dominant for so long; and were we the right people to change this?

The answers to these questions are closely related, and as we have come to realize - to have a choice does indeed matter. Our customers wanted a trust-worthy and dependable alternative. A supplier with the determination and capability of bringing true competition to the market place. A viable alternative benefiting customers and consumers by giving value back to the industry.

This may explain our humble success so far, but it is not sufficient to make Tralin Pak a lasting and great company. The social and environmental well-being of the communities in which we serve, is as integral to our sustainable success as creating value for our customers and offering a rewarding workplace for our employees. We have taken small but decisive steps by commissioning carbon footprint audits of our new factories; we only source liquid packaging board from sustainably managed forests; and we actively promote equal opportunities for all employees regardless of gender, race, personal belief or conviction.

Despite many difficulties, 2008 has proven to be another outstanding year for Tralin Pak. In a complicated business and social environment we have achieved admirable growth, added production capacity, and demonstrated good discipline and creativity in executing our business plan. The seeds we have planted in 2008 will bear fruit in the years to come.

Today, I am proud to introduce our company and team of professionals who are intensely focused on providing superior aseptic packaging materials and innovative packaging system solutions to customers around the world.
